Meals Minutes Cookbook

What cookbook would you recommend?

I am going to buy a cookbook for my boyfriends birthday. He’s REALLY into cooking, but not into the whole Martha Stuart Foodnetworks/Emerils of the cooking scene. He’s more in it for the independent chef’s, fine dining, and art aspect of it. Something a little more mature than a How To Cook Great Meals in 15 minutes.

Think outside the box a bit..

Instead of a cook book, you could buy him a book on herbs. Its usually has recipes in it and it gives you a complete list of herbs and spices and how to use them. Im a chef and got given something like this as a present. Its my bible!!
