Sashimi Rice
How much weight can I lose in 1month?4 months? Eating 1 meal a day. I’m 5′11, 185+. Goal:150 by end of 4mo
Hello Eveyone. I currently drink 2 protein shakes (water based) and eat one sensible meal per day. I believe that my calorie intake is between 1200-1500 a day. I tend to eat a salad with protein, a wrap (kidney beans, salad, protein, brown rice) with a salad, or sashimi with salad. I workout every morning at 6:30 (run for 30min and weight train for 30-45min alternating arms/legs each day). I workout again in the evening, 60min cardio. I drink the shakes at 10am and 3pm and eat dinner around 7or 8 because of work. I know this is not the healthiest way to lose weight however, I have been too frustrated for too long. My body changed completely in late 20s. I even lose weight differently now. I would like to do this for 3 months, possibly 4. I would appreciate any helpful comments and/or guidance from those who have tried similar methods(1meal a day). Also, I am concerned about eating the meal so late in the day. I would probably end up snaking if I ate any earlier. Thx
The eating you’re talking about is similar to a protein sparing modified fast, i’m not sure if it’s safe if you were to continue this for over a month, but you can do one month of this, and one month of eating 5 meals a day (also at 1200-1500kcal), then back again to your one-meal-day method of eating. This would be more favorable, and will prevent your weight loss from plateau-ing, which is what happens when your gets too used to a certain way of eating, or a certain type of exercise.
You can expect to lose around 20-25 pounds in 4 months.
It gets tougher when you get to 165-170lbs, and you will be losing at a slower rate of 3-4lbs a month. It’s like what they say, the last 15 pounds are always the toughest and takes more time. Just be patient and focus on eating and getting healthy. Give yourself 8 months rather than 4 months to get to your goal of 150 pounds.
