Salad Sushi
Hello! Could someone tell me how to make ginger salad dressing?, like the kind you get a sushi bar. Thanks?
Here are two different ginger dressing recipes. Both are very tasty!
Ginger Vinaigrette
1/4 cup Crystallized ginger, chopped
4 tablespoons Rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
1 teaspoon Sesame oil
2 tablespoons Honey or maple syrup
1 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/2 cup Olive oil
1/2 Lemon, juice
red pepper flakes to taste
In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients. Heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Strain and serve. Can be served hot or cold.
Ginger Carrot Dressing
1/2 cup grated carrots
1/2 cup silken tofu
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons yellow miso (soybean paste)
2 teaspoons peeled chopped fresh ginger
1 teaspoon honey
1/4 teaspoon sea salt or table salt
1 clove garlic, crushed
Put it all in the food processor and blend. Chill before serving.
